ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Are you eligible?

In order to qualify for enrollment, you must be of middle or high school age and be in your school's band or music program if there is one offered. Home school students are exempt from the school band requirement.

Tuition Assistance

The Tucson Jazz Music Foundation is a non profit organization that provides needs-based scholarships to qualifying applicants to TJI. Applications are taken on a first come, first served basis. Click to download an application in English or Spanish.

and FEES

Your Gateway to Learning

Admission starts with contacting us to schedule a time to visit the school. During your visit, we will hold a brief placement audition and let you experience the sound of our ensembles for yourself before having you fill out an online registration form. The cost of the program for most students is $1595 for the school year, with TUSD middle students receiving a substantial discount.
